The village of Portmeirion, with a treasure trove of architecture, its colorful painted houses and cottages in a Mediterranean atmosphere, has inspired me to create this collection.
Portmeirion is a popular tourist village in North Wales, designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975 in the style of an Italian village. Portmeirion has served as a location for "The Village" in the 1960s television show The Prisoner.
